Huge Thank you I first met Frank in August 2020. When myself and my 4 sisters had suddenly lost our mum and had to get 3 valuations from 3 different Agents for probate. Toomey was the agent I called first as I knew the family from when I was younger. As Frank stepped into the property I instantly knew that it would be Toomey that we would use. He seemed to care about the people, our sadness and not just about selling the house. Because of lockdown it was almost 2 years later that we managed to put the house up on the market Myself and my sister met with Frank to sign the paperwork. As this was all new to us he explained in depth so we understood everything. Even through our tears and upset he understood and chatted to us like we were friends. There was no rushing or pressure for us to sign. Then came the dreaded paperwork and rather than bother the solicitor I turned to Frank who happily helped always quick to answer emails or return my calls When it came to the time to exchange contracts I received a call from Kim, again through my tears she was very helpful and understanding and let me blubber down the phone and with a lovely caring tone and a sorry for my loss she made me feel better. I have been renting from Toomey Estate Agents for many years and have always found the letting team Kim and Laura to be completely professional. I would highly recommend their services. I have had several problems with the property in the past and Laura has always dealt with the issues within 24 hours.
As a tenant whose home is managed by Toomey Estate agent, I must say the customer services has been substandard. The receptionist/Admin person Kim was extremely unprofessional on the phone. I'd been quite unwell when she had been trying to make contact, which when we did speak thought it was ok to try to undermine my illness and make demands about coming into my home. In another event today Toomey Estate Agent's sales person Frank, thought it was acceptable to enter my home without my permission to carry out a valuation. Their emails were not received by myself and I had no knowledge that they would be entering my home unannounced. I have a teenage daughter who is sometimes at home, Frank does not have a DBS and he did not have explicit consent to enter my home. "By law, your landlord is not allowed to enter the property without permission in the UK." This is totally unacceptable and I will be taking the matter further.
Wow what an amazing experience with frank at Toomey estate agent they went above and beyond our expectations, frank is a wonderful man with a lot of experience and nothing was to much trouble, all our questions was answered and would 100% recommended this company for selling, also Kim in the office was amazing.
