I asked then to do a simple fix to a hole in my jumper. I made it seem very complex. They said it would take a week. I called 10 days later. It still wasn't done. I told them to leave it, I'll collect it, I did and I took it somewhere else. The other place did it in a day, charged £3. This place was going to charge me £10. The other place, fixed the hole. This place was going to add strip of material across the hole, altering the jumper. They even asked if had spare material from clothes at home? It was a joke.
Worst service I have ever experienced. Do not use if you want your garments returned to you. I still have no explanation where one half of my suit in and no communication from the people who own the business. Absolutely shocking treatment for a customer who has been going to them for dry cleaning and alterations for years, no longer.
My Mum has been going here for years. Recently she gave her bespoke Chinese silk suit jacket for a dry clean. Arriving home she discovered they had completely discoloured this jacket. Initially they had the cheek to say it was a cheap material and how they were not at fault as it must have already been grey. Upon returning however, they did offer another in depth dry clean service for absolutely free. Perhaps a change of heart toward a very loyal customer.
